Terms of Service

The terms below apply to anyone reading Tape Measure Pane Logbook, and come down to one point: general information is not advice about a particular job.

Currency of the Content

Accuracy is the aim and not a promise. Standards and costs shift over time, and a reader should confirm anything that materially affects a decision.

Reuse of Content

Copyright in the material here is retained. A brief quotation with attribution and a link is fine, wholesale reproduction is not permitted.

Information, Not Professional Advice

No article here constitutes advice for a specific project. Sliding windows work varies with the building, the site and the local rules, and only somebody who has examined the actual work can advise on it.

Third Party Sites

Other sites are linked on merit and nothing more. The linked organization, its services and its accuracy are its own affair.

Revisions to These Terms

These terms may be revised. Whatever appears here when a reader visits is the operative version.

Liability

The reader decides what to do with what they read here. To the extent permitted by law, no liability arises from its use.
